It's been a pitchers' duel for much of Thursday's game between the Cincinnati Reds and St. Louis Cardinals, but in the bottom of the seventh inning, Redbirds star shortstop Paul DeJong came up and delivered with a go-ahead, two-run homer. Take a look:

Bye-bye, baseball. Reds pitcher Michael Lorenzen can bring the heat, but he went to the breaking ball and hung it. That only leads to bad things, especially to a slugger like DeJong.
Paul DeJong lined a 2-2 changeup over the LF wall for a 2-run HR off Michael Lorenzen. #Reds down 3-1 to Cardinals in 7th inning.

This is a big game for the Cardinals, who are 3.5 games back of the Chicago Cubs. If they can close this out, it would be a huge win for the Cards, who enter a weekend series against those same Cubbies.
