VIDEO: Panthers Run Awesome Trick Play for a TD With Cam Newton and Christian McCaffrey

Cam Newton and the Carolina Panthers looked pretty sluggish in the first half of their first game of the year against the Los Angeles Rams, but they can always count on Old Reliable in Christian McCaffrey to give them a kick in the butt. On a trick play in which McCaffrey took the direct snap and faked it to Newton, the third-year back bursted up the middle to make it a 16-10 game in favor of the Rams.

McCaffrey has 116 total yards from scrimmage, including 80 on the ground. The scoreboard might not reflect it, but McCaffrey is feeling it.
