VIDEO: Oklahoma Melts Down at Goal Line and Suffers Monumental Loss of Yardage Near Midfield

Oklahoma's 2019 season has been very memorable so far. They've started off the year undefeated, and Jalen Hurts has looked amazing. There really isn't much for Sooner fans to complain about at the moment...except for this play.

In the first half of Saturday's game against Kansas, the Sooners had a great opportunity to extend their lead when it was first-and-goal from the Jayhawks' seven-yard-line. But on second-and-goal, they completely botched an attempted trick play, resulting in Hurts being tackled all the way back at the 48-yard-line.
Oklahoma had 1st & Goal from the seven...and ended up with 3rd & Goal from the 48.

Within just a couple of plays, the Sooners lost an astounding 41 yards. It was so bad that Oklahoma was taken completely out of field goal range.
Thankfully for the Sooners, they did score on their next drive. But sloppiness like this needs to be cleaned up prior to the Red River Rivalry. Thankfully, they have this tune-up against the Jayhawks and Les Miles.
