VIDEO: Notre Dame Defender Blatantly Fakes Injury to Disrupt Georgia's Surging Offense
By Karl Rasmussen

When the Georgia Bulldogs offense is flowing, there's almost no defensive unit in the nation that can stop them. Well, apparently Notre Dame is well aware of that, as when the Bulldogs got hot late in the third quarter, they pulled out a pretty drastic measure to slow down their run. Linebacker Jeremiah Owusu-Koramoah was dragged down by his own teammate after receiving a signal from the sideline to feign an injury in order to stop the flow of the game.
When you fake an injury this blatantly it should be a penalty. pic.twitter.com/8QWhwHMjsN

Safety Alohi Gilman appears to be looking over at the sideline before sprinting after Owusu-Koramoah and dragging him to the ground, where the linebacker would then wait for treatment from Notre Dame's medical staff.
Their plan was pretty effective, albeit petty, as Georgia settled for a field goal on the drive, only building a three-point lead in the process.

The cheap play was met with some disgusted boos from the fans at Sanford Stadium in Athens, Ga.
Notre Dame's made it clear they're willing to pull out all the stops in order to keep Georgia off the scoreboard.
