VIDEO: Northwestern Coach Pat Fitzgerald Has Hilarious Response to Haters in Monday Presser

Northwestern's Pat Fitzgerald, a former Wildcats linebacker and current head coach for the last 14 seasons, is as alpha as they come. He especially doesn't take too kindly to criticism from a guy with 15 followers on Twitter who thinks he should be an offensive coordinator. Despite the presence of a 5-star QB in Hunter Johnson, Northwestern is 1-2 and faces a dominant Wisconsin team this week. When asked about Johnson and the offense's struggles, Fitzgerald unloaded on all of the armchair quarterbacks out there.

Two of Fitzgerald's latest quarterbacks, Trevor Siemian and Clayton Thorson, made it to the NFL. Johnson was supposed to continue that trend, but he has regressed, throwing one touchdown against UNLV against four picks while ranking 121st in the country in QBR.

As funny as this may be, as Fitzgerald's defiant, almost stereotypical football coach persona can get a chuckle, Wildcat fans better hope he figures out what's going wrong under center fast.

Fitzgerald can expect quite a full inbox of hate mail at HashtagIDontCare if Northwestern falls to 1-3 on the season next week.
