VIDEO: Nomar Mazara Hits an Absolutely Preposterous 505-Foot Home Run

This homer was well worthy of the fireworks that followed and the Texas Rangers definitely appreciated the two runs that came with it. At the bottom of the first with a man on base, Rangers right fielder Nomar Mazara stepped up to the plate and absolutely demolished the ball, sending it way up into the right field bleachers.

The announcer claimed the distance may have been tough to measure, but they were able to do just that. It sailed a whopping 505 feet!

Mazara's homer gave him 10 for the season but was surely the most impressive of his young career.
