VIDEO: No. 1 Pick Jack Hughes Scores First Goal in Devils Practice

With the New Jersey Devils developmental camp under way, No. 1 pick Jack Hughes is showing off his skills in style. Against his teammates on Saturday, Hughes notched his first goal as a Devil. While not an official tally, the coaching staff surely was impressed.

Hughes is already an American superstar, proving himself at the international level during the IIHF World Championships playing alongside the likes of Patrick Kane. The jump to the NHL will be a tough adjustment, but a player of Hughes' caliber should make an impact from Day 1.
