VIDEO: Nicolas Mahut Absolutely Drilled in Groin With Ball During Wimbledon Men's Doubles Final
By Max Scoli

Are you having a bad Saturday afternoon? Well, I bet it isn't worse than Nicolas Mahut's. Every man knows the worst pain in the world is getting hit where the sun doesn't shine, and that's exactly what happened on this point.
This is the most gruesome and violent tennis match I've seen in decades of watching the sport, and this is the least of it pic.twitter.com/zs6eAQkYAA

RIGHT IN THE (tennis) BALLS!
Sure, this is no Kevin Ware situation, but I am sure that the big green ball was the only one he wanted to get knocked around.
This little episode was just a microcosm of things to come as Juan Sebastián Cabal and Robert Farah defeated the team of Mahut and Édouard Roger-Vasselin by a score of 6-3 in a moment of great pride for the country of Colombia.

A black and blue spot and a Wimbledon loss in less than an hour. That's got to be rough for anyone to take, especially for an athlete who plays at the level of Mahut.
The France native reached a career-high ATP ranking of world No. 1 men's doubles player in June of 2016, so this pill will be tough to swallow.
