Patrick Mahomes was a beast in high school as well. Who knew? Footage of Mahomes scrambling around and tossing dimes against poor high school defenses has been a known commodity for quite some time. Yet, this throw might be the best of them all.

Mahomes runs all the way back to his own 30-yard-line and tosses an absolute laser to his big wideout in the end zone. We don't have the official measurement, but that must've travelled at least 60 yards through the air, if not more.
Even more impressive is the fact Mahomes was a three-sport athlete, playing football, basketball and even baseball. This dunk proves Mahomes was no joke on the hardwood, either. The kid had pure athleticism.

Despite his success in other sports, Mahomes very clearly made the right choice, settling for football and a potential Hall of Fame career, should it continue on this trajectory.
