VIDEO: Mike Mayock Provides Non-Update Update on Antonio Brown
By Parker White

Another day, another twist in the never-ending Antonio Brown-Oakland Raiders saga. The latest development is that star wide receiver Antonio Brown was involved in an altercation at practice with GM Mike Mayock, which many expect to result in Brown being suspended by the team. Mayock addressed the media to address the breaking situation, but didn't really provide much of an update on the matter.
Well, this is your AB non-update. pic.twitter.com/qscZEeIyke

Why didn't Mayock just say that in a statement instead of getting a media scrum gathered around for nothing? He took roughly 10 seconds to say that AB is not practicing and that he doesn't have any further updates.
Cool. Thanks, Mike.
#Raiders GM Mike Mayock at his press conference: “Antonio Brown is not in the building today. He’s not going to be practicing. I don't have any more information. When we do, I’ll get it to you. That’s it for today."

While most probably wouldn't have been satisfied with a short written statement from Mayock, the incredibly brief media address offered next to no clarity on the situation.
As of now it looks like the Raiders are just going with the punches and trying to get a grip over the situation, much like the rest of us. Whether they cut Brown or not remains to be seen, but Mayock isn't giving away any additional information.
