VIDEO: Michigan's Offense Explodes in Easy 52-0 Win Over Lowly Rutgers
By Chris Pyo

Michigan just decimated Rutgers by a score of 52-0 in perhaps what served as a punching bag game for Jim Harbaugh after his tough start to the season during which his job status has repeatedly come into question. But could this have been a turning point for the Wolverines? This offensive outburst could be a sign of good things to come for a team that's far from dead.

Shea Patterson passed for 276 yards and a touchdown while adding three rushing touchdowns to his season total.
Looks like Rutgers forgot to account for Shea Patterson as a runner.@UMichFootball is up 14-0. pic.twitter.com/GXejxDsh1D

Rutgers had a couple of opportunities to score, but the Scarlet Knights were unable to convert on any of their chances because of Michigan's stout defense.

The Wolverines ended the game with Joe Milton at quarterback, and he got into the swing of things as well with this touchdown that made the score 52-0.

We honestly don't even know why Rutgers tries to compete with their fellow Big Ten opponents anymore. It's another embarrassing loss for the Scarlet Knights after running into Harbaugh and his crew at the absolute worst time.
