VIDEO: Mecole Hardman Snags Touchdown Pass From Pat Mahomes as Chiefs Get on the Board vs Broncos

Well, it didn't take long at all for the Kansas City Chiefs to respond to Royce Freeman's opening score on Thursday Night Football. On the ensuing drive, Patrick Mahomes marched his offense down the field and capped it off by connecting with rookie wideout Mecole Hardman, who initially juggled the pass, for a 22-yard touchdown.

It's fair to say that Hardman's bobble worked in his favor as Denver Broncos defensive back Kareem Jackson was completely thrown off as to when the Georgia product would turn and take off upfield.

By the time Hardman brought the pigskin under his control, Jackson was far too committed on his tackle attempt and the young receiver subsequently scampered on into the end zone.
