VIDEO: Mariners Make Perfect Throw to Invisible Catcher in Ridiculous Gaffe

The Seattle Mariners got exactly what they wanted in the sixth inning with men on first and third and only one out. Wade LeBlanc forced Yuli Gurriel to hit a ground ball to the shortstop where a double-play would've ended the inning. Only, things didn't go to plan for them, as Dylan Moore had other ideas on where to go with the baseball.

What was supposed to be a routine play for the shortstop turned into one of the biggest blunders of the season. Moore rifled the ball to home plate, trying to get the runner out despite the double-play opportunity that would have ended the inning.

Mariners' catcher Omar Narvaez was nowhere to be found at the plate, however, as he had darted up the first base line. The result? Moore's throw went to absolutely no one, allowing the Houston Astros to extend their lead to 4-2, and registering a league-high 69th error for the M's.
