VIDEO: Manny Pacquiao Thinks Floyd Mayweather is 'Too Scared' for Rematch
By Charles Nason

The potential for a Pacquiao-Mayweather rematch may have just gotten an added boost as a result of a comment Manny Pacquiao made yesterday on Undisputed. The 40-year-old boxing legend called out Mayweather on the show with hosts Skip Bayless and Shannon Sharpe for being too nervous for a rematch.
.@MannyPacquiao: I believe I won the fight against Floyd Mayweather.@ShannonSharpe: Manny, I'm going to have to respectfully disagree. I think there are two people that believe you won the fight: Manny Pacquiao and Skip Bayless.

Pacquiao and Mayweather haven't fought since their massive bout in 2015. Floyd won the fight via unanimous decision; a significant win for the undefeated Mayweather.
Since that fight, the question of whether Mayweather would actually retire from boxing or not has been juggled quite a bit. He announced the end of his boxing career back in 2017, but since then has opened up the possibility of coming out of retirement for several specific fights. One of those fights would've been a rematch with Pacquiao.

Unfortunately, Mayweather put an end to the hype and called off the potential fight. For now, the rematch is still on hold and likely won't happen unless Mayweather agrees to come out of retirement just for one bout. However, it's hard to believe that Floyd won't give some sort of response to Pacquiao's comments.
Until then, all there is to do is hope that Pacquiao's statements about Mayweather spark a new rivalry between the two. Otherwise, unless both fighters are on board, the rematch we've all been waiting for will likely never happen.
