VIDEO: Man Who Disarmed Student With Shotgun at Oregon School Was a Former Eagles Assistant Coach
By Michael Luciano

Former Oregon wide receiver Keanon Lowe, currently the football coach at Parkrose High School in Portland, became the epitome of bravery and courage when he disarmed would-be school shooter Angel Granados-Diaz. A video showing Lowe help disarm the shooter was released earlier this week, and it's since been found out the Oregon high school coach was a former assistant on the Philadelphia Eagles staff.
This is unbelievable...unreal...a high school coach from Oregon disarms a student with a shot gun and embraces him. Who knows how many lives this guy saved.

But @Eagles...peep the jacket. Hero’s like this don’t come around often. Gotta do something for him. (Via @abcnews) pic.twitter.com/1UgShrlIM5
While most remember Lowe as a slot receiver on some mighty Oregon offenses, most might not know that he was briefly with the Eagles.
Lowe was a quality contributor for three seasons on Chip Kelly's Ducks, catching 68 passes for 891 yards and 11 touchdowns. After his playing career ended, Kelly brought him to the pros as an assistant coach when he took the Eagles job. He also followed him to the San Francisco 49ers.
"I told him I cared about him, that people care about him. He was really surprised. He said, 'You do?' I said, 'Yep, I just met you and I care about you. It's going to be OK."https://t.co/IEDFIrLlmt https://t.co/cupymbOiNN
