Leury Garcia really got right to the point here, didn't he? Entering the game with just five homers on the season, the Chicago White Sox infielder decided that he was going to state a stern argument to Phillies starter Drew Smyly with two outs in the top of the second inning.

That was a boomer. Our friends at Statcast contend that this one flew 430 feet, but by the look of it, you'd almost swear that was a conservative estimate.

The Phillies need to get themselves right, as they're suddenly seven games back of Atlanta in the NL East and find themselves duking it out with the rival Nationals, among others, in the Wild Card scrum. And things aren't off to a great start Sunday against the South Siders thanks to Leury's long ball.
