VIDEO: LeBron James and the Cavaliers Made History 3 Years Ago Today in NBA Finals Against Warriors

Before this season, there was but one blemish on an otherwise dominant dynasty built by the Golden State Warriors. That blemish came in the form of the 2016 Cleveland Cavaliers, who made history by becoming the first (and still, the only) team to crawl out of a 3-1 hole in an NBA Finals. Three years ago today, they capped off that comeback with a thrilling Game 7 win at Oracle Arena.

Everybody and their mothers remembers where they were on this night, simply because it had the entire basketball world on the edge of the seats.

LeBron James' late block against the backboard became the poster image of the comeback, Kyrie Irving's late 3-pointer sent Cleveland into a frenzy, and the best regular season team in NBA history went home without the title.

Does that stand as the greatest Finals triumph in league history? Some would say so. The fact that Cleveland dug all the way out of a 3-1 hole is impressive in and of itself -- to add that they did it against the team that recorded the most wins in a single regular season in league history bolsters the accomplishment tenfold.

What do you think? Is this the greatest Finals win in league history? We certainly think so.
