VIDEO: LA's Fresh Prince Takes Down Phillies With Dodgers' Will Smith Walk-Off Blast

Will Smith's stint in the major's may not last long, as the young Dodgers catcher was only called up to the big league squad as a temporary replacement for the injured Austin Barnes, but he's already left a huge mark on the club. Check out this clip of Smith -- no, not the star from Philadelphia's very own hit sitcom, the Fresh Prince of Bel Air -- downing the Phillies with a walk off blast on Saturday night.

This is absolute gold for all of the irony fans out there. A professional baseball player with the same name as the Fresh Prince star hits a walk off home run against the Phillies? You really can't make this stuff up. If only the Dodgers youngster was from West Philadelphia!

What makes the moment all the more special is that that long ball was the first of Smith's career. How many people can say that their first home run was a game-winning send off? In terms of Dodgers franchise history, it was the first time an LA man did so since former catcher Dioner Navarro back in August of 2005.

The name Will Smith stays spurning the City of Brotherly Love, even 23 years after the Fresh Prince's final episode.
