K-Boom! Kris Bryant has been red-hot of late for the Cubs, and continued his recent streak with a 2-run blast to extend the North Siders' lead in San Francisco Wednesday afternoon.

After a tough loss at the hands of Pablo Sandoval and the Giants on Tuesday night, the Cubbies are doing everything in their power (literally) to avoid such a predicament twice on the trot. Javier Baez got things started with a first inning solo shot, and now Bryant has added on some much needed run support.
Since moving to third in the batting order on July 4, Kris Bryant's OPS is 1.212

And he's hitting .500 with RISP
No misprints
The North Siders' difficult road stretch has been well-documented, but their post All-Star break charge hasn't slowed despite the schedule.
