VIDEO: Kolten Wong Suffers Apparent Leg Injury Running to 1st Base Against Cubs

This could be a tough break for Kolten Wong, and perhaps a blow to the St. Louis Cardinals postseason chances should he be forced to miss significant time. The Cards infielder has been steady at the plate this season, though suffered an apparent leg injury against the Cubs on Thursday night. Wong was visibly frustrated while heading the dugout, and it's hard to blame him.

The Cards' pitching has gotten them to this point, with the likes of Adam Wainwright and Jack Flaherty providing a substantial boost down the stretch.

Of course, none of this success is possible without timely hitting from players like Wong and Paul Goldschmidt. On the season, Wong is hitting .284 with 11 home runs and 59 RBIs.
