VIDEO: Justin Verlander Crosses Up and Humiliates Andrew Benintendi With Filthy Curveball

Never mind the fact that Andrew Benintendi should not be batting leadoff for the Boston Red Sox, as he's currently just 3-for-38 in the first inning of games. No, Benintendi has far more serious issues to deal with. In this case, his pride has gone missing, stolen by one Justin Verlander. Please watch the baseball version of Allen Iverson stepping over Tyronn Lue in the NBA Finals.

Sheesh. Had Benintendi chosen not to swing, this pitch very likely would've hit his ankles. What that means, of course, is that this filthy curveball from JV broke from the outside edge of the plate all the way to Benintendi's shoelaces.

Please pick up your bat and go home, Andrew.
