VIDEO: Julian Edelman Drops Celebratory Tweet Following Patriots Contract Extension
By Michael Luciano

One of the key offensive cogs in the New England Patriots dynasty will stay in Foxborough for the rest of his career. Wide receiver Julian Edelman inked a two-year contract extension that will likely keep the 33-year-old in New England until he (presumably) retires. Edelman posted a video message to all of Pats nation on Twitter, declaring New England as "his home."

In just 12 games last year, Edelman piled up 850 yards and six touchdowns, showing that his best football isn't going anywhere. While his regular season numbers aren't the gaudiest, no one in NFL history not named Jerry Rice has been a better playoff performer at the receiver position.
At age 33, the former Kent State quarterback has shown no signs of slowing down, as he's entering the 2019 season as the No. 1 receiver on a Super Bowl contender.
Julian Edelman has reportedly agreed to an extension with the Patriots.

With Edelman locked up long term and Tom Brady still performing like a quarterback 10 years his junior, the Patriots dynasty looks set to continue for at least a couple more seasons.
