The New England Patriots have struck first against the Pittsburgh Steelers, thanks to a little bit of trickery. First, Tom Brady threw a lateral pass to Julian Edelman, who then threw the football to running back James White for a huge gain.

The drive would be capped off with Brady throwing a slant pass to receiver Josh Gordon, who powered and bullied his way into the end zone for an early 20-yard touchdown.
