VIDEO: Jose Abreu Murders Red Sox 'Closer by Committee' With Game-Winning Home Run

Take that workload, Matt Barnes! Chicago White Sox first baseman Jose Abreu absolutely crushed a home run off of the Red Sox relief pitcher on Wednesday following a monster comeback, just a few short days after he wondered aloud if his current body of work was sustainable. The home run, Abreu's 19th of the season, lifted the White Sox over Boston in the top of the ninth inning and helped Chicago avoid getting swept in the series.

Abreu's game-winning blast puts him just five home runs out of the American League lead.

After taking the blame for allowing the Red Sox to come back and win Monday night's game, Abreu found some redemption with this two-run shot. That's...about as far as a home run can go.
