VIDEO: Jerry Jones Pretended Not to Hear a Reporter's Question About Jason Garrett's Future
By Parker White

Is this Jerry Jones the owner of the Dallas Cowboys, or Jerry Jones the comedian? I'm not sure, but when he was asked a question about head coach Jason Garrett and his future with the team, this is how he played it.
"Next question."

Jerry Jones when asked what he needs to see from Jason Garrett to bring him back in 2020 ? pic.twitter.com/0ppTcOGGxQ
There was some kind of noise in the background that could've impaired his hearing (I guess...), but he was clearly ignoring the reporter's question and then moved on.
Well played, Jerry. Too many extensions to worry about, too little time. Can't be worried about a lame duck in this economy.
Jerry Jones on what Jason Garrett has to do to return: I didn't hear you. I really didn't hear you. There's a drill going on back there. Next question. ?

Obviously, Jones didn't want to answer any questions about Garrett, especially since he was sitting right next to him.
Not only did he provide some comic relief by putting his hand to his ear, but then, with a big ol' smile on his face, he moved onto the next question without answering anyone in the vicinity.
The best part about being old is having the unquestioned ability to do stuff like this.
