VIDEO: Jeff Van Gundy Shows Complete Disregard for Phrasing While Praising Meyers Leonard

Meyers Leonard balled out in the first half of Game 4 for the Portland Trail Blazers. He led all players with 25 points on 10-for-12 shooting and rightfully earned the praise of Jeff Van Gundy. Unfortunately, Van Gundy showed complete disregard for phrasing while highlighting his strong efforts.

"If you're not gonna give him a bang now, when are you gonna bang him?" said Van Gundy. Talk about an extremely poor choice of words.
This mishap is just the latest shred of evidence that the man has virtually no mental filter.
Maybe Van Gundy should start thinking about what he's going to say before letting it fly. Although, it does make ESPN's broadcast just that much more hilarious to watch.
