VIDEO: Jeff McNeil Caps Mets' Rally With 3-Run Blast

Mistakes get punished in the MLB, that's simply a fact of life. That was no different during the first leg of Tuesday's doubleheader between the Mets and the Yankees. After a couple of defensive miscues from shortstop Didi Gregorius, Mets outfielder Jeff McNeil took Masahiro Tanaka deep for a three-run blast, clearing the bases in style.

The home run staked the Mets to an early 4-1 lead over their cross-town rivals.

It was a line drive of a homer, traveling 390 feet and reaching a maximum height of just 58 feet.

The blast was McNeil's third home run of the year, and it pushed his season RBI total up to 20, following a lengthy IL stint.
