VIDEO: Javier Baez Extends Cubs Lead With 8th Inning Grand Slam Against the Reds
By Jerry Trotta

Fresh off being named to his second consecutive All-Star Game, Cubs shortstop Javy Baez is still delivering the goods. With Chicago clinging to a 1-0 lead in the eighth inning against the Cincinnati Reds, Javy-Baseball launched an opposite field grand slam to give the Cubbies some much needed insurance runs and breathing room against their NL Central foes.

Want to know the only thing better than your standard grand slam? An oppo-taco grand salami.
And what better place to put a low-and-away pitch than the right field bleachers?
Seriously, how can you not love El Mago? He oozes swag, plays with a compelling flare (that somehow isn't obnoxious) and always seems to deliver in the big-time spots for Chicago. And Saturday afternoon was no different.
