The Boston Celtics have been decimated with injuries as of late, most recently with Kemba Walker's terrifying neck sprain. Prior to the starting point guard's nasty collision, forward Gordon Hayward led the injury report; he suffered a broken hand back on Nov. 9 when facing the San Antonio Spurs. It's been a bit over two weeks, but Hayward's cast has already been removed by doctors. On Sunday, a video surfaced showing Hayward taking shots in the Celtics' practice facility, and his jump shot is looking pretty good.

The fact that Hayward is already practicing his jumper without a cast just two weeks after fracturing it is a very promising update, indeed.

At the time of his injury, the time frame for a return was set around six weeks. Head coach Brad Stevens noted he hasn't received an adjustment on the recovery time after this latest update.

Either way, Gordon Hayward looks like he's going to shatter the six-week time table by a significant portion, just in time to return to a Boston Celtics team that could always use his services.
