VIDEO: Furman QB Somehow Carries His RB Through Pile of Bodies to Break Free for Massive Touchdown

Who says that quarterbacks shouldn't risk injury for the benefit of their team? With Furman boasting a 28-20 lead over Chattanooga with 15 seconds remaining in the fourth quarter, the Paladins were just looking to run the clock out. But don't tell that to QB Hamp Sisson, who emphatically pushed his tailback, Devin Abrams, through a swarm of bodies leading to an insurance touchdown scamper in the closing seconds of the game.

Make no mistake about it, folks, Abrams would have been tackled if not for the extraordinary efforts of Sisson, which would have resulted in a turnover on downs and a potential last-ditch effort for Chattanooga to tie the game with a touchdown and two-point conversion. Unlikely, but possible.

Talk about putting the exclamation point on top of a convincing road victory.
