VIDEO: Francisco Cervelli Delivers 2-Run Double in First At-Bat as a Brave

Well, that was quick. Francisco Cervelli was hitting a measly .190 in his limited opportunity with the Pittsburgh Pirates this season, but he's a veteran backstop with plenty of potential to contribute with the Atlanta Braves. On Saturday night in his first AB with Atlanta, he did just that.

Cervelli expressed a want to play catcher with the Braves, which Atlanta is letting him do. The Pirates, meanwhile, didn't seem willing to put Cervelli in harms way any longer given his injury history. So far, Cervelli looks up to the task.
