VIDEO: Former Ohio State QB Braxton Miller Breaks Down Urban Meyer as a Broadcaster
By Michael Luciano

Former Ohio State head coach Urban Meyer has knocked it out of the park as a college football analyst for FOX in his first post-football gig, and former Ohio State quarterback Braxton Miller isn't the least bit surprised. Miller explained that Meyer was always an expert communicator, especially towards college kids, and that skill has served him well on air.
.@CoachUrbanMeyer has been a hit on our airwaves, and it doesn't surprise one of his former signal-callers in the slightest.@BraxtonMiller5 weighs in on his former @OhioStateFB head coach's success on the other side: pic.twitter.com/V2NoRdbkls

What's really made Meyer a big hit is his ability to break down game film and schematic tendencies from his unique perspective in a way that isn't patronizingly basic, but also doesn't slam the viewer over the head with technical jargon.
Why would you ever want to take the Dallas Cowboys job when you've got this? It's low stress, it pays well, and you get to do what you love. You want to choose dealing with Jerry Jones over killing it as an analyst?
I loved the explanation of secondary coverages. Simple explanation, kids pick it up fast, then all your working on is technique with the DB’s. ?

It's clear why there was a network bidding war for Meyer when he announced he was stepping down at Ohio State. If Meyer does decide to stay in broadcasting, he could carve out a second legendary career.
