It only took one week for the 2019-20 NCAA Basketball to see its first massive upset. On Tuesday night, the No. 1 Kentucky Wildcats lost to Evansville 67-64 on their home court, the first time that's occurred in program history as the nation's top seeded team. While the Wildcats were wallowing after the upset, Evansville head coach Walter McCarty was living it up in the visitor's locker room, as his team doused him with water from Gatorade bottles.

Talk about a much-deserved celebration. There was absolutely no expectation that the Purple Aces would put up so much as a fight against the No. 1 ranked Wildcats, but they marched into Rupp Arena and walked away with a huge statement victory.

The win was even sweeter for the McCarty when you take into account he accomplished the unthinkable against his alma mater. McCarty spent his collegiate career at Kentucky, where he helped the Wildcats win the National Championship back in 1996.

Evansville entered the game as 25-point underdogs, and with their win, it's the third-biggest upset in the past 15 years of college basketball. Walter McCarty didn't crack under the pressure, and he notched the biggest win of his coaching career. He was, understandably, emotional after the game.
