VIDEO: Dwayne Haskins Tries Hard to Motivate Veteran Redskins O-Line and Barely Gets Reaction
By Scott Rogust

Dwayne Haskins had a lot of fun in college while playing at Ohio State. After being selected by the Washington Redskins 15th overall in this year's NFL Draft, Haskins is learning just how hard winning is to come by in the pros. During the team's 34-17 loss to the New York Jets, cameras caught Haskins pleading with his offensive line to step up while asking exactly how he can help them. Despite the "damn good culture" preached by team president Bruce Allen, the linemen looked completely disinterested.
"What do I have to do to help you?"

Any thoughts, guys? Anything at all? Haskins was essentially talking to a wall, and received no feedback.
Throughout the majority of the game, Haskins was under constant duress due to a determined Jets pass rush against an under-performing Washington line. The rookie was sacked five times, three of those coming from safety Jamal Adams.
Dwayne Haskins was on the sidelines speaking fiery to his offensive line. Isn’t that the sign of a competitor and what you want to see from your QB? I think the rookie has played well under the circumstances today. Yes he’s missed some throws but he has not turned ball over #httr

Besides his early struggles, Haskins threw the first two touchdown passes of his NFL career, but it just wasn't enough.
With Washington now 1-9 on the season, Dwayne Haskins is learning that he's not in Columbus anymore. Wins are a lot harder when his teammates look like they couldn't care less.
