The New Orleans Saints may have just cost themselves dearly in the waning minutes of the first half. With possession of the ball and just few seconds remaining before the two-minute warning, the Saints were poised to add on to their 10-6 lead over the Minnesota Vikings. But Drew Brees made a terrible decision by going for an ill-advised deep pass and gave the ball right back to his opponents.

That's what happens when you try to force things.

And in the playoffs, especially against a team as strong as the Vikings, errors get punished. Just a few plays later, Dalvin Cook weaved his way into the end zone to give Minnesota a 13-10 lead.

Brees' interception gave the Vikings the lead heading into the half, and it could end up proving to be a massive and costly mistake.
