It's been a somber 48 hours for the New York Yankees. Dellin Betances is out for the season, they lost a chance clinch the division in CC Sabathia's last Bronx start and Domingo German was (rightly) busted for domestic violence. DJ LeMahieu isn't here for your excuses, and put the Bombers up 3-0 early on the Angels.

LeMahieu continued his claim as the most valuable addition from this offseason, and the Yankees got him on a bargain deal to make matters worse for the rest of baseball.
