VIDEO: Division-2 Team Minot State Scores TD on Best Kickoff Return of the Season After Fumbling
By Sean Facey

This play can most aptly be described as a roller coaster of emotions. Down 15-0 in the first quarter against the University of Minnesota-Duluth, Minot State kick returner Cory Carignan bobbled the kickoff, dropping the ball in the end zone with the coverage team bearing down on him. Then, in an inexplicable turn of events, he managed to carry the ball out of the end zone and bring it all the way back for a touchdown.

Minot State went from disaster to elation in a matter of seconds on a play so improbable that it almost doesn't feel real. It's a miracle that they managed to get the ball out of their own end zone, let alone into their opponent's.
Minot State Football lost handily to rival Minnesota-Duluth Thursday night, but the Beavers' biggest highlight of the night immediately went viral on social media, when kick returner Cory Carignan went 104 yards on a bonkers play that almost went nowhere. https://t.co/cOTtlLDcW4

As for UMD, it's probably safe to say that they'll be running a lot more kickoff practices for the rest of the year.
