VIDEO: Dexter Fowler Rescues Cardinals With Game-Tying Homer in the 9th Inning

The Redbirds were not about to go quietly down in Arlington! Staring down a 3-2 deficit with one out in the ninth inning, Dexter Fowler picked one out on a 2-2 pitch and rocked it deep into the right field seats, leveling the game and giving St. Louis new life.

The Cardinals had gone scoreless since notching a pair of runs in the top of the first. Fowler's blast, his first and only hit of the game, was impeccably timed.

A win would put St. Louis three games over .500 in what has been a ruthlessly competitive NL Central division. Thanks to Fowler's clutch moment, they're that much closer to keeping up the pace.
