The Chicago Cubs were the beneficiaries of a play on Thursday and it came at the expense of the Cincinnati Reds. Cubs catcher Willson Contreras hit a routine grounder to third base in the top of the first inning. Once Eugenio Suarez attempted to glove the ball, that's when it bounced off the bag, straight into the air and over his head. As a result, two Cubs waltzed home with ease, giving Chicago a 2-0 lead.

That's one way to bring home two runs, right? Tough break for Cincy.

It was all the more problematic because Chicago had runners on second and third with two outs. The runners were going regardless, which helped them capitalize.
