VIDEO: Cubs' Javy Baez Ties Game With 454-Foot Moonshot Against the Athletics
By Karl Rasmussen

Javy Baez always swings for the fences. The Cubs' star infielder is known for his bold approach at the plate, never backing down from swinging at the first pitch and frequently aiming to launch a ball into orbit. Well, he was back at it again on Monday, crushing a solo shot to center field, nearly losing his footing due to how hard he swung the bat.

Baez's solo shot tied the game at 2-2 as the low-scoring affair between the Cubs and A's trudges on.
