The Kansas City Chiefs were hit with injuries to four players on Sunday night against the Indianapolis Colts. Sammy Watkins, Chris Jones, Xavier Williams, and Anthony Hitchens were all ruled out for the remainder of the game after being victimized mid-game. There's no way the bad luck could continue for Kansas City, right? Right? Well, late in the third quarter, quarterback Patrick Mahomes got his left ankle stomped on by his own offensive lineman, Cam Erving, further aggravating an issue he's carried with him all season.

Ouch.

Mahomes had to be helped off the turf by linemen Mitchell Schwartz and Erving. As he rose to his feet, Mahomes sported a very significant limp, sending shockwaves throughout the Kansas City area.

We will keep you updated once we learn more about the severity of Patrick Mahomes' potential injury, which just seems to be...one of those things every QB other than Tom Brady has to deal with over the course of a regular season.

Can he just not play in Mexico City? Can we cancel that again? Thanks.
