VIDEO: Charles Barkley Calls Joel Embiid and Karl-Anthony Towns' Fight a 'Snuggle Party'

Joel Embiid and Karl-Anthony Towns did their best to outshine Game 7 of the World Series on Wednesday night when they were involved in a violent brawl during the 76ers-Timberwolves game, which ultimately saw them land two-game suspensions. The scrap was heated, and Towns was literally forced to tap out by a Ben Simmons chokehold. But don't, however, tell that to TNT's Charles Barkley, who coined the melee as nothing more than a "snuggle party" since no real haymakers were thrown.

Chuck is no stranger to unleashing a scorching hot take, but this might be the worst of the bunch. We get that he played during the 1990s, but the KAT-Embiid fight was about as genuine of a skirmish that the NBA has seen for quite some time. Still, Chuck wasn't amused, and scoffed at the idea that Embiid and Towns had been in a real fight.

If that's a "snuggle party" for Barkley, we're very intrigued as to what a "real" NBA fight looks like in his eyes.
