Chad Johnson continues to find ways to keep himself relevant in football circles. After being invited to try out (and failing to show) to become an XFL kicker, Johnson's next football endeavor will be on a virtual playing field. Ochocinco will be working with EA Sports for future installments of the Madden series to adjust player ratings.

"I am the Madden player adjuster from now on," Johnson said. "Players always have an issue with their ratings, they scream about the people doing the ratings and them not being knowledgable or knowing about the game. Now you have a player who played at a high level."

He even went so far as to provide video reference to any player that disagrees with their rating.

Johnson, who hasn't been on an NFL roster since 2012, may boast the credentials to adjust ratings for wide receivers. He was a six-time Pro-Bowler at the position and even boasts some mild coaching experience as a guest instructor with the Cleveland Browns in 2016. But even then his judgements on certain players at the position have been over the top at times.

The prospect of Ochocinco judging the talent of offensive linemen or edge rushers might lead some to question the validity of Madden's player ratings. Then again, that is a validity that has been harshly questioned for years now.
