VIDEO: Central Michigan Player Gets Hit by Pitch and Then Suddenly Full-on Sprints to 1st Base
By Karl Rasmussen

In the Starkville Regional opening round of play, Central Michigan and Miami were pitted up against one another. In the top of the fifth inning, a Central Michigan batter was hit by a pitch and went down on the ground in pain. After writing on the floor for a good ten seconds, he suddenly flips over and bolts down the line to first place, while his teammates cheer him on.

That's definitely not something you see every day, at any level of baseball.
Just when you thought the training staff might need to come have a look at the batter, he springs to his feet and takes off like Usain Bolt down the first base line, as if he's trying to beat out a grounder on a bang-bang play.
