VIDEO: Bryce Harper Obliterates 465-Foot Mammoth Solo Shot Against Rockies

Some players try to end their cold streaks by getting on base and playing small ball in order to help their team tack on some runs. Others prefer to do it with one swing of the bat. If you hadn't guessed, the latter is Bryce Harper's preferred method. He left the yard against the Rockies in mammoth fashion, crushing a 465-foot bomb in the first inning.

It was the 8th home run of the year for Harper, as he has not lived up to his billing as a $330-million signee this offseason. He had every right to admire that hit, as he absolutely destroyed it.

Hopefully this demolition of a pitch will help spark the turnaround to his season that Phillies fans have been anxiously awaiting.
