VIDEO: Bryce Harper Collects 200th Homer and 1000th Hit on Same Bomb Against Braves
By Michael Luciano

It seems like just the other day, Bryce Harper was an 18-year-old kid mashing for the Harrisburg Senators and the old Syracuse Chiefs. Ever since his debut in April of 2012, the now 26-year-old Harper has accrued six All-Star nods, an MVP and several MLB records. The milestones just keep coming for Bryce, as he picked up career hit No. 1,000 and career home run No. 200 in the same at-bat against Atlanta Braves starter Bryse Wilson.

Harper's 16th home run of the season cut the Braves' lead to 3-1.
If Harper killing two milestones with one hit seems rare to you, it's because it's never happened before in the history of baseball. For the first time ever, a player picked up a milestone hit and a milestone home run on the same hit. Go figure.
Actually, Harper is the first player ever to get any milestone hit (1000, 2000, 3000 or 4000) and milestone homer (100, 200, 300, 400, 500, 600 or 700) on the same hit.https://t.co/Um2MZUQpeH

While this is certainly not the last milestone Harper will pick up in a Philadelphia Phillies uniform, it's certainly going to be the oddest.
