VIDEO: Bruins Race Ahead to 3-0 First Period Lead on the Road in Game 3

After getting dominated in overtime of Game 2 in front of their home fans, the Boston Bruins came out smokin' in Saturday night's Game 3 of the Stanley Cup Final. To get things started off right in St. Louis, Patrice Bergeron broke his duck midway through the first period.

It's about time! The B's featured attacking group of Bergeron, David Pastrnak, and Brad Marchand had been surprisingly quiet of late until this big moment. And it was indeed big, as it wasn't long before Charlie Coyle got involved and doubled Boston's advantage.

Not to be outdone, with just 10 seconds left in the period, Sean Kuraly made sure the hometown Blues got the message by bagging a third before the horn sounded.

Truly a rampant opening 20 minutes for the Eastern Conference champs. The hosts have plenty of time to respond, but they've dug themselves a serious hole in tonight's game 3.
