VIDEO: Brewers' Keston Hiura Smokes First Career MLB Hit With Line Drive off Jerad Eickhoff's Leg

Well, that didn't take long. Milwaukee Brewers second baseman Keston Hiura, who has made a name for himself by tearing the cover off of the ball at every level of the minor leagues, roped an infield single off of Philadelphia Phillies starter Jerad Eickhoff for hits first career MLB hit in his very first at-bat.

A former star in college at UC Irvine, where he broke all sorts of records, Hiura was selected ninth overall in the 2017 MLB Draft. He was a career .316 hitter in the minor leagues who sprayed the ball all over the field.

With Christian Yelich and company continuing to mash, Hiura has more than enough talent to stick full-time at second base and become a fixture in the Milwaukee lineup.
