VIDEO: Braves Send Rookies on Coffee Run at Wrigleyville

The Atlanta Braves had some fun with a few of their rookies, sending them on a coffee run in enemy territory. In typical rookie-pranking fashion, the Braves sent a few of their young guns to a local Starbucks in the heart of Wrigleyville while wearing their uniforms. Surrounded by Cubs fans, the rookies seemed to actually have some fun getting coffee for their veteran teammates.

Just for good measure, the Braves sent their rookies out in full uniform to get them coffee before their afternoon matchup with the Cubs. Atlanta sent rookies Mike Soroka, Touki Toussaint, Jacob Webb, and Austin Riley out on a coffee run and luckily they were actually well-received by some Cubs fans.

Hopefully the Braves have more rookie pranks up their sleeves, because the first was absolutely hilarious. If they do end up sending their rookies on more coffee runs in opposing cities, they better hope that most people are as friendly as the Cubs fans were. Perhaps an NL East rival would be a bit more hostile if they saw some Braves rookies on their turf.
