VIDEO: Bill Walton Hilariously Thought Leury Garcia Foul Ball Was a Home Run During White Sox Game

Bill Walton is often at the broadcast table for college basketball games, but the former NBA star has taken his commentary talents to a whole new sport. Walton was in the booth commentating the White Sox game against the Angels, and it was every bit as wild as you would have hoped. Walton, clearly not familiar with the deceptive viewing angles that baseball games provide, completely freaked out at what he thought was a Leury Garcia moonshot.

The only thing was, Garcia actually fouled the ball back and out of play. Not only was this ball not a home run, but it didn't even go forwards.

Walton let out an excited scream before quickly realizing that the ball had in fact traveled in the opposite direction.

We certainly appreciate his enthusiasm however, as had that ball been parked in the seats, he would have been going bonkers.

Walton might have been fooled by the foul ball, but he claims to be lethal in the box, describing to Jason Benetti his approach at the dish. Walton's home runs go "out into the universe, like a radio wave that goes past Saturn, Jupiter, Pluto and through the black hole and the many other galaxies yet named."

If you haven't already, we highly suggest tuning into this White Sox broadcast, because Walton is serving up some high quality commentary.
